For operators who want some added protection or are required to wear a boot with a safety toe, this 6-inch Rapid Response Tactical Boot from Converse is just the thing. In testing, the composite safety toe withstood a Class 75 impact and earned the ASTM’s highest rating.
Unlike steel toe boots, composite toes do not conduct heat or cold, they will not trigger metal detectors, and yet they offer excellent protection whether you are kicking in doors or have something drop on or roll over your toe. They are lighter and more comfortable than steel, making them easier on your feet.
The upper of this boot is 1000 denier nylon and full grain leather. The lower features a slip-resistant sole that is non-marking. Inside they feature Converse’s Shock Eliminator System and removable FootForce comfort insole to provide comfort and impact protection. The Sure-Grip Plus Trail Outsole provide excellent traction on dirt or solid surfaces.
